I would seriously do your homework though and find a good dentist with no language barriers. Look on forums, look on the FCO website, try and find an ex-pat group that could recommend someone to help you. I think there are European countries that are just as good / cheap, probably even dental package holidays you can go on! Good luck....im living in Switzerland and done my crown last MARCH in Bangkok (Expensive & Well Known Clinic)
After some month ive been having pain, so i were already back in Switzerland, i had no choice to go see a dentist here (SWISS DENTIST are so EXPENSIVE)
She told me that d thai dentist did the work UNPROFESSIONALLY!  )
The Thai dentist did do damaged my teeth.  and i hate it!
Then i decided to pay more for the best quality, than save for *
